Upon entering, you're greeted with contemporary vibes that invite you to linger. One customer, Yasmeen Jones, raved about the cafe’s friendly staff and the delicious gluten-free options available, stating that the Morsel gluten-free donut paired with a chai latte creates the perfect treat. It's a testament to how Elegy Coffee prioritizes not just quality coffee but also inclusivity in their menu.
For those seeking a smooth espresso experience, patrons like APL speak highly of their latte made from a perfectly roasted espresso that boasts medium body with subtle notes. The cozy atmosphere is complemented by delightful options like overnight oats and flaky croissants which make for a great brunch stop. APL even highlights the uniqueness of the honey bear on tap that captures the essence of creativity in their beverage lineup.
Tim R. appreciates Elegy’s focus on fulfilling meals, noting the baseline burrito deluxe as a hearty option that comes with complimentary salsas—always a plus! His enthusiasm for the Daybreak Latte echoes the sentiment of many diners who’ve found it hard to forget this delightful concoction. It’s one of those magical drinks that leaves you longing for more.
While some may find the pricing on the higher side, as noted by JA Alford, the complimentary options like oat milk and warm water balance the scale, making it a place worth indulging in. With both indoor and outdoor seating options, there's ample space for relaxing, socializing, or getting some work done in a clean, welcoming environment.

“ The cafe is inside a building and it’s great with modern vibes. The staff is quick and super friendly. They even have gluten free options! I got the Morsel gluten free donut with chai latte. Best combo and donut I’ve had in a long time. ”
“ Killer espresso-based drinks. I had a latte and the Espresso roast was wicked smooth, medium bodied, and beautifully understated. Loved the overnight oats and croissant. Partner got the honey bear on tap, which was on point! ”
“ Saw the honey bear was recommended, had to try it and loved it. Unique drink. Had the baseline burrito deluxe, was very filling! Appreciate the two salsas they added to it. This is one of the few coffee shops I’ve come across where the food was filling and you could have an entire meal here. Spent around 25 for everything but the pricing was on-par with the rest of downtown Nashville. Definitely going to go here again! Very accommodating and plenty of places to drink/eat/talk/work. *Update: Had the Daybreak Latte the day after. Was the best drink I had and one of the better coffee-type drinks I’ve ever had. Wish I could have one of these shops closer to me because the Daybreak Latte is that good. ”
“ Good coffee and food, can be a little expensive for example 1 for flavor and another for almond milk, but oat milk as well as regular is complimentary on the side and room temperature water. Friendly staff. Nice clean bathroom and wifi available. ”
“ Nice spot for a coffee. The cortado was well made and the for here cups make it even better. Only whole milk available for the dairy options, but some milk alternatives also available. Indoor and outdoor seating options. ”
“ You can easily see dedication in the craft by how the barista works. Checks every gram to make sure extraction is perfect. Got the sunny bear, pastelito latte, and espresso. Flavor was perfectly balanced, drinks weren't too sweet or packed with ice. Espresso was delicious on its own. Strongly recommend. Who would've known peach and mango went well with coffee. Pet friendly! ”
“ We’ve been to every coffee shop downtown and Elegy is the best one there is for multiple reasons. The coffee is delicious and strong and they have a wide variety of lattes, cold brews, & espresso. It’s a dog friendly coffee shop (a huge bonus!) & they make their own dog treats to give to the dogs. Our Einstein (mini dachshund) is known by name here and we’ve always said that if he got off leash somehow in the city, he’d end up here at Elegy. The workers are always the kindest people who take the time to greet you and ensure that you enjoy your drink. Through the months, Elegy has done a great job of adding breakfast foods & pastries to their menu but be aware that the early bird does get the worm because they sell out every morning (usually by 10:30AM). This is the best coffee shop also to lounge in and people watch or just glance at the city views. We love Elegy and are so thankful for this cafe. ”
“ This place has such a nice vibe and is beautifully decorated and set up. We came in Thursday morning for an iced oat mocha and a honey almond milk latte. Adding an extra double shot to my mocha was only 2. I was surprised when my drink came out how dark it was, but it was just the black cocoa and it was the best tasting mocha i had in Nashville. the chocolate didn’t overpower the espresso and was perfectly sweet. Almond milk latte was also amazing!! ”
